Cooku with Comali Season 1 (2019-2020) Winner: Vanitha Vijaykumar

Starting on November 16, 2019, and running till February 23, 2020, “Cooku with Comali,” hosted by Rakshan and Aranthangi Nisha, for sure brought the ideal fusion of comedy and gastronomic expertise, you know? And yes, this season saw Vanitha Vijayakumar bring home the winner’s title, Uma Riyaz Khan as the first runner-up, and Ramya Pandian as the second runner-up. The chuckles continued flowing from Comalis such as KPY Bala (who took home the Comali title), Pugazh, Manimegalai, Sivaangi, Thangadurai, Sai Sakthi, and Bijili Ramesh.

Cooku with Comali Season 2 (2020-2021) Winner: Kani Thiru

Launched on November 14, 2020, the second season ran until April 14, 2021. This season though, Rakshan came back as host, accompanied by Chef Venkatesh Bhat and Chef Damodharan once again. Viewership surged this season, particularly during the COVID-19 shutdown. Kani Thiru came up on top as the winner, Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan came second and Shakeela came first.

Cooku with Comali Season 3 (2022) Winner: Shruthika

Season 3 ran from January 22, 2022, till July 24, 2022. Chef Damodharan and Chef Venkatesh Bhat were judges and Rakshan was once again the host. With its interesting approach, this season maintained the excellent standards of the show and delighted viewers once again. Darshan came first runner-up, Shrutika took home the winning title, and Ammu Abhirami came second runner-up. Contestants like Pugazh, Manimegalai, Sivaangi, Sunita Gogoi, Bala, Shakthi, and Parvathy-pappu were among the Comalis. This season was remarkable because of the fierce attitude and great performances.

Cooku with Comali Season 4 (2023) Winner: Mime Gopi

Season 4 ran from January 28, 2023, until July 30, 2023, and once again Rakshan hosted this season, which kept viewers thrilled and excited with creative challenges and funny exchanges including judges Chef Damodharan and Madhampatty Rangaraj. The season was won by Mime Gopi, Srushti Dange came first runner-up, and Vichithra came second runner-up. Though, one very noteworthy highlight was the relationship between Comalis and the contenders.

Cooku with Comali Season 5 (2024) Winner: TBD

First launched on April 27, 2024, TBD Season 5 is presently airing. Again, chef Damodharan and Madhampatty Rangaraj are judges in this season as Rakshan returns as host. We all are looking forward to who will come out at the top as the winner of this season, but we’d have to wait for that. Though, among the other contestants are Shaalin Zoya, Akshay Kamal, Dhivya Duraisamy, VTV Ganesh, Priyanka Deshpande, and Sujitha. The Comalis have yet to fully realize their potential, yet, they promise much more fun and excitement.
