Dance Plus is a TV show from India where people compete in dancing. It’s in Hindi and made by Frames Production House and Urban Brew Studios. It airs on Star Plus and some online platforms. The first season started on 3 July 2015. Raghav Juyal hosted the first six seasons, and from season seven, Tushar Shetty & Sushant Khatri also joined as hosts. Contestants can dance alone, in pairs, or in big groups and do any dance style. They’re all competing for a big prize. Now, let’s check out who won in each season of Dance Plus.

Dance Plus Season 1 Winner Name – V Company (11 October 2015)

Let’s talk about the exciting finale of the first season of Dance Plus in 2015. V Company, a group of 50 dancers from India, won the show on Star Plus. They beat Poppin Ticko, Hardik, and Question Mark Group to clinch the title. The prize for winning was Rs 25 lakh and a new Maruti Suzuki Swift car.

Star Plus and Twitter teamed up for a special voting system called Hashtag Voting for the finale. Viewers could vote for their favorite contestant from the final four using hashtags like #IVoteForQuestionMark, #IVoteForVCompany, #IVoteForHardik, and #IVoteForPoppinTicko.

Remo was the main judge, and Shakti Mohan, Dharmesh Yelande, and Sumeet Nagdev were team captains on the show. Remo thanked the audience for their votes, making the show a success. He congratulated V Company on their win, saying they were starting a new journey in dance.

In the end, V Company was declared the audience’s favorite.

Dance Plus Season 2 Winner Name – Tanay Malhara (25 September, 2016)

The Dance Plus season 2 finale happened on the night of September 25, 2016. Tanay Malhara, a 14-year-old from Maharashtra, won the dance reality TV show Dance+ Season 2. He’s from Jalgaon. Tanay won Rs 25 lakh and a car along with the trophy. He competed against the Wild Rippers crew, Piyush Bhagat and Sushant Khatri. Tanay said winning was a big surprise, but he didn’t realize how many people supported him. He thanked Dharmesh sir for supporting him and dedicated his win to him. He also thanked Shakti and Punit for their constant motivation. Remo said Tanay’s win inspired the nation and announced that all the finalists were part of his film Street Dancer 3D.

Dance Plus Season 3 Winner Name – Bir Radha Sherpa (24 September, 2017)

In Dance Plus Season 3, fans were confused about the finalists. Amardeep Singh Natt, Bir Radha Sherpa, and Bir Radha Sherpa were hyped as the best. But finally, an 18-year-old from Silchar, Bir Radha Sherpa, was declared the winner. He won Rs. 25 Lakh, a Hyundai Elite i20, an Amazon voucher worth Rs 1 Lakh, a Suzuki Gigsar SFFi bike, and an Oppo smartphone. Bir Radha Sherpa thanked his mentor, Remo D’Souza, on Instagram. Amardeep Singh Natt was the second runner-up, and the duo Tarun and Shivani were the third runner-up.

Dance Plus Season 4 Winner Name – Chetan Salunke (2 February, 2019)

Chetan Salunkhe won Dance Plus 4. He competed against Aanchal-Sujan, Vartika Jha, and V Unbeatable. Chetan, a 19-year-old from Pune, won Rs 25 lakh and the winner’s trophy. He was part of Punit J Pathak’s team. Chetan’s determination to win for his parents earned him the title of Shravan Kumar. He trained himself by watching YouTube videos and dancing under streetlights. In the finale, Chetan performed with international star Marquese Scott, and Marathi actors Siddharth Jadhav and Ketki Mategaonkar came to support him.

Dance Plus Season 5 Winner Name – Rupesh Bane (22 February, 2020)

Dance Plus Season 5 had Rupesh Bane as the winner on February 22, 2020. Rupesh beat three other contestants to win the trophy in the finale of Star Plus’ dance show. He was in mentor Dharmesh’s team and won Rs 15 lakh along with the trophy. Janam Dance Group came second, Sanchita-Subrata was third, and Deepika-Rupesh got fourth place. The show’s superjudge Remo D’Souza announced Rupesh’s victory. Rupesh was thrilled and celebrated by taking his shirt off. He thanked everyone for the support, saying he wasn’t sure he’d win during the auditions. In a post on Instagram, he expressed gratitude to India and his team, D Unit.

Dance Plus Season 6 Winner Name – Harsh, Sneha & Tejas (15 October, 2021)

In Dance Plus Season 6, Dharmesh didn’t join. The show started on September 13, 2021, and ended with a big finale on October 15, 2021. Harsh, Sneha, and Tejas won the competition, and Dhananjay Joshi came in second place.

Dance Plus Season 7 Winner Name – Ritesh Pal (29 February, 2024)

Dance Plus Season 7, known as “Dance+ Pro,” had Ritesh Pal from Shakti’s team as the winner on February 29, 2024. He had some changes during the season, like new hosts and Dharmesh’s absence. Despite the changes, the show led by Remo D’Souza and captains Shakti Mohan, Punit Pathak, and Rahul Shetty won people’s hearts with diverse talent. Ritesh Pal impressed with his dance moves and captured the audience’s attention to emerge as the season’s finalist.
