Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is a popular Indian reality TV show where celebrities dance with professional dancers. It’s like the Indian version of two other shows, Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. Every couple on the show dances specific dances, trying to impress judges and get votes from the audience. The first four seasons were on Sony TV. Then, seasons five to ten were on Colors TV. But from season 11 onwards, it went back to Sony Entertainment Television. Now, let’s find out who won each season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Quick Overview of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

Let’s talk about Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa before finding out who won each season. In this show, famous people team up with professional dancers. They perform different dances that have already been decided upon, then compete for points from judges and votes from the audience. The pair with the lowest points from judges and votes gets kicked out every week until only one pair remains as the champions.

The show’s idea is borrowed from Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One in the UK and Dancing With The Stars. But unlike those shows, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is recorded beforehand. Also, it’s the only spin-off that uses recorded music instead of live music with a band. Its name comes from the song “Jhalak Dikhlaja” from the movie Aksar (2006), sung and composed by Himesh Reshammiya.

The latest season ended on March 2, 2024. Hopefully, there will be more seasons in the future. But for now, let’s check out who won in each season. First, we’ll mention the winners, then discuss them and show their pictures.
