India’s Best Dancer is a dance reality show which first aired on 29th February 2020 on Sony Entertainment Television. The show has aired for 3 seasons so far and has been judged by prominent names of the entertainment industry, such as Geeta Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Sonali Bendre and Terence Lewis. IBD is produced by Frames Productions India. It is telecasted in Hindi but has a Marathi version as well. The first season of IBD aired from 29th February 2020 to 22nd November 2020 with a run of 48 episodes. Second season of the show completed 26 episodes from 16th October 2021 to 9th January 2022. Third season of the show had a run of 52 episodes from 8th April 2023 to 30th September 2023.
IBD Season 4 is all set to go on air from 13th July 2024. The show will be telecasted every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.

India’s Best Dancer Season 1 Winner – Tiger Pop
The first episode of the first season of India’s Best Dancer was aired on 29th February 2020. The judges of the inaugural season were Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Malaika Arora. Season 1 was hosted by Harsh Limbachiyaa and Bharti Singh. Finale of the show was aired on 22nd November 2020.
Tiger Pop aka Ajay Singh emerged winner among the top 5 finalists. He won the title of India’s Best Dancer and took home a cash prize of Rs. 15 lakh along with a car. His choreographer Vartika Jha received a prize money of Rs. 5 lakh.
India’s Best Dancer Season 2 Winner – Soumya Kamble
India’s Best Dancer Season 2 was judged by the trio of Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Malaika Arora again, while the host for this season was Manish Paul. The first episode of the second season premiered on 16th October 2021 and the finale was telecasted on 9th January 2022. Altogether, the second season had 26 episodes.
Saumya Kamble won the second season of India’ Best Dancer. The 16 year old from Pune defeated other finalists Gourav Sarwan and Roza Rana to bag the title. She took home a prize money of Rs. 15 lakh and a car. Her choreographer Vartika Jha received a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh.
India’s Best Dancer Season 3 Winner – Samarpan Lama
India’s Best Dancer Season 3 commenced on 8th April 2023 and culminated with a grand on 30th September 2023. This season was judged by Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Sonali Bendre. The host was Jay Bhanushali. Season 3 ran for a total of 52 episodes.
Samarpan Lama won the title of India’s Best Dancer Season 3 by defeating 4 other finalists. He took home a cash prize of Rs. 15 lakh and a car. His choreographer Bhawna Khanduja received a prize money of Rs. 5 lakh.
India’s Best Dancer Season 4
The fourth season is coming very soon in upcoming weeks. IBD Season 4 will feature Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Karisma Kapoor as the judges. Jay Bhanushali will continue as the host.
